Plaza de Las Culturas Site Development
Premier worked with Raza Community Ventures, LLC to complete a preliminary geotechnical investigation for an 82-plus acre site with mixed-use developments including housing, commercial office/retail, schools, health care center, and civic spaces. Premier’s scope of work included geotechnical field exploration; field and laboratory testing; geotechnical analysis to determine the subsurface conditions; and recommendations for design and construction of the development features. Premier also performed a geophysical survey up to 20 seismic refraction lines, which were performed on-site mostly near the Salt River to determine the presence of buried household or industrial trash including solid waste, rubber tires, etc. This work provided specific coverage for potential buried trash materials, which could be easily missed by borings or test pits.
