Secure Border Initiative | Yuma, AZ


This project included design of approximately 25 miles of vehicle barriers along the international border with Mexico in Yuma County, as well as an additional 15 miles of construction access roads. Premier performed all survey services for the project, including establishing horizontal and vertical control, placing and measuring aerial mapping control, supplemental topographic survey, determining/measuring the international boundary, and Public Land Survey system section surveys. Coordination with multiple agencies was necessary, including the Corps of Engineers, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, and the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge.
