The Higley to Power segment of the SR202L freeway begins immediately west of Gilbert Road and extends eastward to Higley Road. Premier performed all off-site and on-site hydrologic and hydraulic drainage analyses for this 2.23-mile segment. Off-site contributing areas were modeled using HEC-1 and on-site pavement drainage used the Rational Method for this urban freeway. Storm drain trunk lines, collectors and connector pipes were designed hydraulically using StormCAD. Premier prepared the plans, specifications and estimates for the roadway pavement drainage design and cross-culverts. Roadway drainage improvements included approximately 18,700 feet of storm drain pipe and 74 catch basins.
