Premier prepared construction documents for the removal and reconstruction of Taxiway B8 at Sky Harbor International Airport. Based on the condition of the Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP) pavement, the Aviation Department elected to demolish the entire taxiway connector between Runway 8-26 and Taxiway B. We conducted a site survey of the project area, performed civil and electrical design, and submitted sealed construction plans and technical specifications. Scope included full depth pavement removal, PCCP reconstruction, airfield lighting, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) status lighting, and pavement markings. This project was fast-tracked with the entire design package completed within 40 days.
